Melanie Ebach

Melanie Ebach holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph in Psychology: Brain and Cognition and has recently received her Ontario College Graduate Certificate in Addictions and Mental Health from Humber College. She completed her placement semester in December 2022 with the Acquired Brain Injury Outreach Team in Scarborough through both COTA Health and the Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities fueling a passion for trauma-informed care and cognitive rehabilitation research. Melanie volunteers her time as a crisis responder with Kids Help Phone when she is not working on the above-mentioned projects. Her previous volunteer positions include one on one support at the Centennial Infant and Child Center for children with dual diagnoses, recreation therapy support at the Homewood Health Centre in Guelph and as a support like volunteer on the 24/7 Support Phone Line through the Canadian Mental Health Association's London-Middlesex division. In her free time, Melanie is a competitive curler on the Ontario Curling Tour (OCT) and is a classically trained vocalist with a love for good coffee and her 2 year old golden doodle.
